The apartment is located in the Carré d'Or district and adjacent to the popular Musiciens quarter. The area is ideally situated for getting around being well served by local buses, very close to the stop for the airport bus, and the SNCF main railway station is a 20 minute walk away.
All the main attractions of Nice are within easy walking distance with the Promenade des Anglais being just 150 metres away and the main shopping area can be reached within 10 minutes. The pedestrianised Rue de France is also nearby with its shops, restaurants and bars.

Local amenities - less than 5 minutes walk include:

Getting Around

Parking:
The central location of the apartment means that almost everywhere in Nice can be reached on foot, or alternatively by local transport. A car is not necessary but there is limited meter car parking and public car parks nearby should you require them.

Airport:
The airport is about 7km (4 miles away) and the no. 98 bus stops opposite the Negresco Hotel (the Gambetta stop), which is approximately 150 metres away.

Railway Station:
The main SNCF railway station can be reached in 20 minutes on foot and has frequent services to all the main coastal resorts including Mandelieu-La Napoule, Grasse, Cannes, Juan les Pins, Antibes, Villefranche sur Mer, Monaco, Menton and Ventimille in Italy. Other main line services mean that cities including Marseilles, Dijon and Milan are also within reach.

Ferry Service:
The Port is within walking distance (approx 20 minutes) where a number of trips can be booked including the ferry to Corsica.

Bus Service:
The smaller inland towns and villages are all served by frequent bus services either from the Promenade, nearby streets or the main bus station in Nice, which is within 15 minutes walk.
